PneuDraulics currently has an opportunity within the test department for the role of Test Tech. This position performs acceptance test procedures (ATP) on various hydraulic and pneumatic aerospace system components. The pay range (2nd shift add a 5% shift differential):
- Test Tech III (trainee) $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
- Test Tech II $26.00 to 29.00 per hour
- Test Tech I $29.00 to 38.00 per hour
The pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Learn to setup standard and special purpose test equipment to test and evaluate components.
- Will uses appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the parts being tested.
- Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with approved technical data, customer specifications.
- Record information as outlined by the engineering department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diplomat (GED).
- Willingness to learn to read and understand complex test procedures.
- Willingness to learn to read and interpret blueprints, pressure gauges, flow-meters (glass tube and digital), multi-meters, and power supplies.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing for test stand setups and soldering.
- Good communications; presentation and interpersonal skills.
- A focus on workplace organization coupled with demonstrated attention to detail.
